SnackPack specializes in long-form corporate and non-profit films, promotional videos, sizzle reels, executive interviews, specialty marketing movies for the web and a variety of social media platforms.

Rick Mowat, President of SnackPack Productions, is a graduate of The Juilliard School with over a decade of experience spearheading film and video in NYC. Rick Mowat’s experience as a professional actor, writer and performer have evolved into a specialty combining directing, writing, and producing with editing. Mowat has produced and directed commercials and videos for Frye Boots, Nikon, Kenneth Cole, Bovis Lend Lease, The College Board, ArtsBridge, King Centre for the Performing Arts, The Soho Playhouse, Exponential Ensemble and Reel Executives; as well as professional reels for a myriad of performers such as Academy-Award nominee Michael Shannon (Man of Steel, Revolutionary Road), Lonette McKee (Jungle Fever, Cotton Club), JoAnna Rhinehart (Damages, The Following). His award-winning short films include The Meet, Marty Learns To Drive and Hanging Plant. His films have played at the Woodstock Film Festival, PBS’ Reel Thirteen, Anthology Film Archives in NYC, Woods Hole Film Festival, Lake Placid Film Festival and The Eugene International Film Festival.

Mowat directed the play and feature film, A Cat’s Tale (2015) and numerous stage productions including the award-winning Can’t Cut My Head Off and the sci-fi rock musical, The Last American as well as dozens of theater productions for the Dramatic Question Theater Company, the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre and The Soho Playhouse. He has acted in Woody Allen’s Celebrity, Sweet and Lowdown and The Town I Love; and worked as an improvisational writer/performer including a theatrical comedy that won #1 Critics Pick by TimeOut Magazine. As a voice over actor, Rick has recorded numerous roles including multiple voices for the animated series Danger Squad as well as several animated books and many corporate projects.
